Zio's Brick Oven Pizza

Pizza was okay prices are fair. 4$ per slice. But it kinda tastes sweet. They need def more salt

I guess I wasn't a fan of cheesesteaks because I hadn't eaten a good one until now. To me, they tasted like over-cooked teriyaki style meat, with liquid cheese. Don't get me wrong, I like liquid cheese but not in a cheesesteak. ATMOSPHERE: Typical city setting; long and narrow shop with simple decor and a TV on the wall. FOOD: Cheesesteak Got mine topped with grilled onions & mushrooms, lettuce, and real cheese (provolone.) It was really good and really big, but I ate the whole thing, being the pig that I am. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the roll was soft & fresh. Ordered a side of crinkle cut fries with salt & pepper. SERVICE: You order & pay at your window and the food is supposed to be delivered to you, but my sister-in-law went up to get the food. The guy taking the orders, not sure if he's the owner, was great. At first glance I didn't think he'd be that patient & friendly, but he was. Don't judge a book by its cover! OVERALL: I know the rivalry is between Gino's and Pat's, but my spouse who is a Philly native likes this place way more. And that I'll stand by!

Best cheesesteak I had the whole time I was in Philly. It was so good. The only that came close to the ones we have here in Chicago. I would certainly recommend.

This is my second time going to this pizza spot and they do not disappoint! I love their pizzas and the marinara sauce is so on point! The perfect balance of all the flavors. My margarita pizza was thin and crispy at the bottom but not charred or burned and that exactly how I like it. It didn’t get soggy and maintained the crispiness the whole time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The pizza was pretty good but there was a lack of soft drink size options. I’m not about to guzzle a liter of soda for one damn slice. Should sell cans in this economy. Also the atmosphere made me fee like someone was gonna come attack me but maybe that was the monday scaries talking. Anyway, solid pizza.

Stopped here for pizza this evening while visiting Philadelphia. We ordered a salad & then a cheese pizza. It was delicious! Dough was very fresh & just the right amount of cheese & sauce! I highly recommend getting their pizza when in area.

Pizza was a solid 7. The service was excellent! -I prefer dough a little crispier
